In 1932, a young girl went missing in the Australian outback...and an aboriginal tracker Albert sets out to find her. ONE NIGHT THE MOON is based on the true story of Aboriginal tracker Riley in Dubbo in the 1930's, who was awarded the King's Medal for his services to the police force. His grandson, Michael Riley, directed the documentary Black Tracker in 1997, which became the inspiration for ONE NIGHT THE MOON.
